Ms. Gillis has lived in Cambridge bay Nunavut since 1989 with her family. She has been a member of IDEA and has sat on the Hamlet council for three years. Since 2009 Ms. Gillis has sat on the board of director members with KCFI and has ran her own business since 1995. Currently, Ms. Gillis runs Qillaq Innovations as the General Manager of this general contracting business.
