Born on the Mainland, Mr. Akkikungnaq is currently a resident of the community of Gjoa Haven. He is the Chair for Business on the Community Economic Committee and a partner of CAP Ltd. As an elder, Mr. Akkikungnaq has continued to inspire Inuit youth entrepreneurs and ensures that the KCC champions Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit principles in all our on-going initiatives.
