As a local developer with a Masters degree in Architecture, Ms. Doiron is very familiar with designing beautiful spaces and innovative business models. In recent years Ms. Doiron has continued to mentor and inspire Nunavummiut, Inuit Entrepreneurs, and local youth as they visit Nunavut Infrastructure Projects she has helped Project Manage. Over the years Ms. Doiron has contributed to the housing market as well as the local economy with the opening of the Kuugak Café and Ublu Inn establishments which she’s, along side her husband, owns and operates. Apart from her mentorship efforts with the Inspire Nunavut Program, Ms. Doiron has held several executive board positions at the Cambridge Bay Child Care Society, as well as the Kitikmeot Community Futures Inc. Ms. Doiron brings a renewed vision to the KCC as we set a course for a progressive future.
